Perley McEachern

The death of Perley Herbert McEachern, of Summerfield, occurred on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB. Born March 4, 1929 in Castle Hill, Maine, he was the son of the late William and Grace (Newbegin) McEachern and husband of Rilla May (Foster) McEachern.

Perley is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rilla; 6 children, Paula McEachern, Ella Harrington (Phillip), Perley McEachern, Grace Ogden (Terry), April McEachern, Barbie Thomas (Joseph); 2 sisters, Joyce Savoie (Clarence) and Marion Cochran (Bill); 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and 1 son, Eric John; 3 brothers, Arthur, Russell and Bedford; and 5 sisters, Helen, Barb, Bessie, Millie and Ider.

Visitation will be held from L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Carl DeMerchant officiating. Interment will be in the Summerfield Cemetery.
