R. Jack Lee
1946-2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard
“Jack” Lee which occurred on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at
Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB. Born August 4, 1946,
in Woodstock, NB, Jack was the son of the late Alfred Gerald and Hanna
Elizabeth (Watters) Lee. Jack was also predeceased by his sister Judy
Reed and brothers in law Nolan Reed and Rusty Davis
Jack is survived by his wife Marilyn Lee of 28 years; his daughter Deanna Lee; his son, Adam Lee (Candace); 2 stepsons, Shawn Adams and Josh Adams (Karrie); 1 brother, Robert Lee (Linda); 2 sisters, Jane Fisher (David) and Deanna Davis; 5 grandchildren, Hunter, Hanna, Camden and Grayson, Shawn Hamilton as well as beloved nieces and nephews.
Jack was a veteran who served in Vietnam and Korea. He enjoyed his social time at the legion. Just a good “Old School” truck driver, kicking tires, checking lights, dashboard lights on his face, not feeling like leaving, but he left feeling good. Making friends everywhere he went, he always had a good story and a good laugh. Jack loved people and was friends with everybody.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 4-6 pm. A Royal Canadian Legion tribute service will follow the visitation at 6 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dan Smith will officiate. The interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion or St. James Anglican Cemetery would be appreciated.
Special thank you to the ER nurses and Doctor Eric Comeau as well as the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit. Also, to the staff and Dr. Bruce Lockhart at the River View Manor, Bath.
