Shane T. Gray

The death of Shane Gray of Craig’s Flat occurred on Monday, June 12, 2023 at his home. Shane was born July 20, 1954 in Perth Andover and was the son of the late Alexander and Elsie (Foster) Gray. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Betty Nye and Carol Grant; brother, John Gray; brother in law Hank Dunster.

Shane enjoyed listening, singing and dancing to any kind of country music. He spent a lot of time with his friends always helping them out with whatever they needed, SHANE WAS A TRUE FRIEND TO all who were fortunate to know Shane. Shane did not have any children but he sure helped to look after and be there whenever one of his nieces or nephews needed a hand, or a driving instructor. Shane always took his vacation time at work, in line with harvest time where he helped many farmers get their crops in. Shane loved to do laundry, you could sure bet if he came to visit and a load of laundry needed to be done, it was washed, dried and folded before he left.

Shane is survived by his 2 sisters, Diane Dunster of Medford and Donna Shepherd (Bob) of West Virginia; his brother, Tony Gray of Plaster Rock; brother in law, Dale Nye of Kenneth; sister in law, Marlene Gray of Ontario; his friend and sister in law Tina Albert of Upper Kintore; special niece, Kelly Smith; special nephews, Mitchell Albert and Gunnar Gray as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Respecting Shane’s wishes there will be no formal services. The interment will be held at a later date in St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Cemetery, Birch Ridge. For those who wish donations made to St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church for road repair work to get to the cemetery.
