Fern M. Rideout

The death of Fern Marie Rideout of Woodstock occurred on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Fern was born December 13, 1925 and was the daughter of the late May Lewis. She was also predeceased by her only son, Stephen; siblings, Inez Lennon (Bernard), Meriam Chapman(Elmore), Eldon Lewis (Diane), Kenny Lewis, Cora Wallace (Charles), Mildred Rideout, Weldon Rideout (Edna), Arthur Rideout (Hazel), Dorothy Broad (Howard), Lois Markey (Joe), Judith Lewis, Billy Lewis, Kathleen MacDonald (Evans), Ella Paget (Foye); Lester Wallace and Bob Saunders.

Fern is survived by her sister in law, Valerie Budrow (Wavel), Joyce Wallace and Alta Saunders, as well as many nieces, and nephews and great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be held from the Juniper United Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 11:00 - 12:30 pm A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. The interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Esdraelon at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. L.R.
