Shirley J. Brooks

The death of Shirley Joyce Brooks, of Florenceville-Bristol, NB, occurred on January 15, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born on August 3, 1932 in Knowlesville, NB to the late Ira and Nellie Corey. She was also predeceased by her husband, Rev. Paul Brooks, and 13 siblings, Erma, Murray, Wilfred, Robert, Alice, Norman, Thomas, Claude, Judson, Warren, Keith, Kaye and Gordon.

Shirley is survived by her 3 daughters, Jane Russell (Darrah), Natalie Haines (Ron), and Lisa DesRoches (Brent); Grandchildren, Kathleen DeLong (Mark Überton), Corey DeLong (Ashley), Gina Tremblay (Jason), Brody Lyon (Morgan), Chaundra Eagar (Matthew), Chantelle Vahi, Victoria Russell and Jordan Russell; Great Grandchildren, Damian, Elwyn, Oaklyn, Fred, Charlee and Theo; 1 Sister in Law, Hazel Brooks; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from Tabernacle Life Church, 349 Rte. 110, West Florenceville (Centreville Rd), on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20th, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the Tabernacle Life Church with Pastors Michael Austin and Bill Corey officiating. Interment will be in the Glassville Cemetery at a later date.
