Darcy Floyd Shaw

The death of Darcy Floyd Shaw, of Bristol, occurred on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville.

He was born April 13, 1964 and was the son of Floyd and the late Myrna Shaw. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by a sister, Debbie Shaw.

Darcy is survived by his wife, Dawn Shaw; sons, Ethan Shaw and his wife Emily Christensen, Cole Shaw; father, Floyd Shaw; brothers, Ritchie Shaw and his wife Lana Shaw, Michael and his wife, Michelle Shaw; brother-in-law, Tony O'Donnell; several nieces and nephews.

Darcy was a supportive father and husband. His faith in God shone in his servant spirit and love of people of every age, from babies to seniors.

Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel on Thursday, July 7th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dale MacDonald officiating. The interment will follow in the Oakland Community Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be made to the Woodstock Wesleyan Church Children's Ministry.

Darcy's family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff of the Upper River Valley Hospital for their compassion and phenomenal care during his stay.
