William "Bill" Kilfoil

The death of William "Bill" Ronald Kilfoil of Florenceville occurred on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born April 30, 1947 he was the son of the late Leo and Veronica (Riley) Kilfoil. He was also predeceased by his sister, Anna Marie Kilfol; niece, Megan Kilfoil; nephew, Mike Kilfoil; sister in law, Patricia Crain.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon; 3 daughters, Julie Anderson (Ron), Laurie Sutherland (Tron) and Jill Lunn (Lance); 7 grandchildren, Megan, William, Mya, Dru, Riley, Wyatt and Blake; 3 siblings, Eileen Kilfoil (Ismail Osman), Timothy Kilfoil (Diana) and Joe Kilfoil (Alma); brothers and sisters in law, George Crain (Cheryl), Rosemary Beckers (Paul) and Brian Crain (Robin) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Papa’s dream was always to return to Johnville, that was his Happy Place, surrounded by his family and friends at “The Farm” Recently his dream came to fruition as he has been surrounded by loved ones and country neighbours at “The Farm” as every weekend starting in April and going through into October it was all about making memories and washer toss.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham RD. Florenceville - Bristol on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00 am from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville. Fr. Anthony Ekpe and Fr. Gilbert Doddatto as co- celebrants. A private family interment will be held in the Johnville Cemetery at a later date.
