Janet M. Smith

The death of Janet Marie Smith of Greenfield, NB occurred on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Upper River Valle Hospital, Waterville, NB. Born in Florenceville, NB on September 4, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alberta (Smith) Brymer. She was also predeceased by her husband, Clarence Smith; 1 daughter Joan Marie; 1 son, Kevin Glendon.

Janet is survived by her 3 children, Rick Smith (Leonette), Dan Smith (Lorie) and Linda Smith (Jean-Paul); 5 grandchildren, Dawn Murray (Blair), Rickey Mehlenbacher, Kevin Smith, Lindsay McNair (Ben) and Brandon Prior; 2 great grandchildren, Kevin Prior and Eli McNair; 3 siblings, Ronald Brymer (Thelma), Calvin Brymer (Kelly) and Christine McLean as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 1-2 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm from the chapel. The interment will be held in the Greenfield Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Upper River Valley Cancer Support Group would be appreciated.
