Doris V. Drost
1927-2016
Doris delivered rural mail throughout Florenceville and Oakland for several years then taking a position as a assistant Post Mistress at the Florenceville Post Office until her retirement. She was very active in her church and spending her summers at Bannon Camp to help counsel young children. She had a great love for dogs and cats, bringing many strays home over the years that would have never survived without her kind heart. Her children and grandchildren were very important in her life. She was very proud of all their accomplishments. Many happy time were spent at their camp in Greenfield were she loved to cook, the larger the crowd the better, was her philosophy.
