Murray Alvin Pearson

At the Upper River Valley Hospital on Monday, June 1, 2009 Murray Alvin Pearson passed away at the age of 71. Born in Glassville on October 11, 1937, he was the son of the late Wilfrid and Jean (Elliott) Pearson and husband of the late Janet Pearson.

Murray is survived by his friend and companion Shirley Fox of Woodstock, 2 children, Brent (Kim) of Glassville and Brenda (Roger) McQuade of Medford, 6 grandchildren, Dallas, Jackson and Emma Pearson, Teena, Deana and Jada McQuade, 1 sister Irene (Hazen) Perkins of Bristol and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Janet and 2 sisters, Elva Henderson and Margaret Stoddard.

Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 2:00 pm from L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Mary Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery.
