Frances M. McCain

The family of Frances Marion McCain, formerly of Wicklow NB, sadly announce her passing on August 17th 2017 in Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville NB.

Born in Yarmouth NS January 9th, 1930, the daughter of the late W.R. and Marion Manning. She was presently residing at Riverside Court, Woodstock , N.B.
Following graduating high school in Saint Stephen, Fran taught school retiring in 1989. Over the years Fran was involved in many activities, loved to travel and had many friends of all ages.

Fran is survived by her daughter Susan Collins (Eugene) New Minus, N.S, son Richard Crompton (Susan) Florenceville-Bristol, N.B. Grandson Brooks Crompton, granddaughter Lauren Crompton and sister Barbara Digdon Windsor N.S. Fran is also survived by step children Fred Jr. McCain (Cynthia), Trish Ash (Carl), Susan Gardner, Dave McCain (Barb).
She has eight step grandchildren; Meghan, Caitlin, Gillian, Ross, Chris, Jane, Ben & Abby and 10 great grandchildren. 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
Fran was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Carl Crompton and second husband Fred McCain and sister Helene Manning.

Visitation will be held Monday August 21st 2017 from 6-9 pm at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, Burnham Road Florenceville-Bristol N.B. A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2pm at Faith Memorial Church, Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol N.B. Reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall at the church. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
